Q: I am an educator at a charter school within SC Public Charter School District's portfolio. I have renewal credits to submit for my certification renewal. Where do I submit renewal credits?
A: Please submit renewal credits via this link.
Q: I am an educator at a charter school within SC Public Charter School District's portfolio. I am in an alternative certification program. I need a Confirmation of Employment (COE) submitted this school year. Where do I get a COE?
A: Please share this link with your school leader. This form must be received from your school leader/HR coordinator. We will submit to SCDE upon receipt of this form.
Q: I am an educator at a charter school within SC Public Charter School District's portfolio. I need to submit documents (transcripts, test results, etc.) to SCDE. Where do I submit documents to the State?
A: Login to your Educator Portal. Submit your documents and your requests to SCDE directly via your SC Educator Portal login.
Q: I am interested in joining the staff of a charter school near me. Where can I apply and inquire about openings?
A: Each autonomous charter staffs its school. Please reach out directly to the school for employment inquiries. You may find a comprehensive list of our schools here.
Q: I am interested in becoming an educator via the Charter Inspire alternative pathway. How do I apply?
A: Charter Inspire is a state approved alternative certification pathway unique to the SC Public Charter School Distrist. This program is currently approved to be implemented in four of our charter schools. Charter Inspire educators must be employed at one of these specific four schools. Please inquire with your school leader to see if Charter Inspire is an option for you at your current school.
